Ballet With Sophie will collect information electronically via your online enquiry/registration form, when you email the office, speak to us in person or via the phone or when you make a fee payment. This information will all be stored on a secure device. The information we collect includes: pupil’s/parent/guardian names, address, email, telephone, date of birth, medical information, medical and photographical consent, emergency contact information etc.

The information collected will allow us to contact you for purposes including: emergency situations, safeguarding concerns, feedback and general information related to classes and exams.  It will also enable us to create class registers and invoices (copies of these registers (pupils names, date of birth and emergency numbers) will be held by the teacher in the studio) and register children for performances, events and RAD/ATAP examinations. The exam boards require candidates personal data for entry but not any parental details.

We delete any records we have after the student discontinues classes with us at Ballet With Sophie. Under GDPR you have the right to access your personal data as well as the right to change it if you feel that it is inaccurate/necessary. Ballet With Sophie employees are not at liberty to disclose any information relating to other students/families. All information regarding this is strictly confidential.
