Today, my two younger daughters and myself also take classes with her.  We can all confirm that she is absolutely brilliant with every age and very professional. Sophie is a remarkable teacher. Everyone who enters her class feels at ease, supported and respected, regardless of their age or ability. She creates a total safe space for everyone to enjoy their dancing and her classes are a pleasure to be in. As an adult, it is an hour of pure escapism each week and I could never recommend it enough. She has brought my love of being in a studio back and I am indebted to her for that. Her talent and knowledge is inspirational and her teaching approach is next to none; insightful, nurturing and patient. As for her children’s classes, she creates pure magic. Her imagination and creativity, alongside her natural warmness and maternalistic qualities get the best out of every child.

I studied ballet throughout my childhood and am over the moon that I can continue as an adult in Sophie’s adult class. It is my favourite hour of the week. The magic of the class is that it suits complete beginners as well as myself who spent years at the ballet barre. My 6 year old daughter is also a student of Sophie. It is lovely to see how her confidence has grown since joining Sophie’s class. We are both so lucky to have Sophie as a teacher.

Sophie has been teaching my daughter classical ballet for 10 years. To say she is an excellent teacher is to diminish what she has been to our daughter and family. Sophie is both an excellent teacher and a source of support and enduring encouragement. She has dedicated her time whether it be weekends, weeknights or holiday periods to the girls so that they may realise their own ballet dreams.

During covid I started seeing Sophie for my own personal fitness and have continued to see her ever since. If you’re prepared to do the work you will see results. She won’t cut corners and, importantly, she listens. I cant recommend Sophie as a trusted and dedicated teacher highly enough. Every child with a yearning to learn ballet should be lucky enough to have a teacher like Sophie
